«Lion’s Roar» is an ode to perseverance and the new single of Blind Boy De Vita. Challenging times make the hurdles seem bigger than they truly are. It’s about finding one’s own true strength and continuing to push and pursue whatever goals one might have. It also becomes very clear that Blind Boy De Vita’s new sound puts a lot more emphasis on vocal arrangements and harmonies. Calling, responding and shouting a hook in unison, as the bluesy South African house beat (recorded with his throat) is pulsating along to keep us going strong.
